Every year since our beginning in 1996, Delaney Vineyards has hosted its annual, ceremonial “HARVEST & GRAPE STOMP”. This family friendly event is fun for everyone no matter how old you are. We start a 7 AM and give those folks who show up before 10 AM a bucket and a grapevine cutter and show you how to hand harvest a grapevine. You get to walk up and down the rows of vines and pick as many grapes as you like. You will be able to observe our mechanical harvester and our grape crusher / de-stemmer in action.

At approximately 10 AM we fill a huge tub full of the grapes you harvested and guess what we do next??? That's correct; we STOMP on them just like Lucy did those many years ago on her T.V. show. We let the little kids go in first followed by the older kids and adults . We terminate the stomp at noon to allow our vineyard workers to return to the vineyard to finish the harvest.

We will announce the date of the harvest on this web site as soon as we determine when the grapes are ready to be picked.
